About Me
I have been interested in the law for as long as I can remember. So fresh out of high school I embarked on a journey that I thought would lead directly to finding my place in a large law firm. Well as life would have it, it didn’t quite turn out that way. After five very full years, five very different jobs and a shiny new BComm degree from the University of Calgary, it was time for a break.
I have had two years now to think about what I want and to try my hand at using my first degree. I currently work in the insurance industry. It is here that I discovered that I am just as keen as I was seven years ago to embark on a legal career. So along with the daily reminders of litigation risk and contractual language I am starting the application process. I hope that this blog will allow you to come along on my adventure from application to graduation and give you the inside look at the life of a prospective law student.
I tend to be a rather opinionated person, and there is nothing I like better than a good argument. So feel free to comment, debate and disagree. I do request that you keep it civil, as I reserve the right to moderate.
